I am Louisa, the founder of Maison Distinguée.
The world of weddings and design has always held a special place in my journey.
Over the years, one conviction has become clear:
Modesty should never be a constraint when a woman chooses her wedding dress.
I created Maison Distinguée to offer a different vision of the white dress: elegant, covering and designed from the first sketch to respect the values of the woman who wears it.
MY STORY
Since I was 16, I have always been involved in the world of Muslim marriage.
As a henna artist, I have accompanied and observed many brides over the years.
And the same observation kept coming up:
The white dress was not designed for modest women.
Too often, it was necessary to choose a standard dress and then modify it: add sleeves, raise a neckline, cover a back or adapt a transparency.
I wanted to reverse that trend.
No longer adapting a dress to a woman's modesty, but creating from the outset a dress designed specifically for her.
So, Maison Distinguée was born from this observation.
